Challenge

Our client wanted to develop a mobile app that would track truckers’ working hours. AntiBAG Tahograf had to track the time and notify when the driver must stop. Such an app became very important for end-users (truckers) because they were incurring huge fines for violation of work and rest rules.

Solution

The client had a precise description of his business idea and his own vision of graphic design. IntexSoft team had compiled the project specification based on provided requirements and started the development process.

 

Our team developed the mobile application for Android OS since Android devices were the most widely used among the client’s target audience.

 

When our team developed a new version of the app, the client and his co-workers tested it in real working conditions. After the testing, they made a list of edits and improvements required. Developers reviewed this list and came up with a new version of the app, which was tested on the road again. Such an approach helped to implement a variety of useful changes. For example, we found a solution for traffic tracking errors appearing in long tunnels with no signal.

 

To ensure app security, we used Google’s comprehensive security suite Google Play Protect that keeps malware off Android devices and helps to avoid hacking and data breaches.

Methodology & Transparency

During the development process, the team followed an Iterative approach.

 

After each iteration, the client and his focus group tested the app in working conditions, collected the list of necessary improvements where after the development team worked on the new version.
