Solution

The main goal of the project was to migrate the tool to new technologies, without implementing new functionality. Although the calculator worked well, the technology needed to be updated. When choosing the tech stack, we considered that the web application should be responsive: work stably and look good on all devices (PC, tablets, phones). So our team chose React, as it was the best option to fulfill the requirements.

The client also provided us with all the necessary layouts and graphic materials for updating the design of the application. The dev team adapted the design for desktop and mobile devices.

Methodology & Transparency

During the project development, we followed the Kanban methodology.

The IntexSoft team arranged Skype calls with the client where we reported on the work performed, discussed all the issues, and decided what else was needed to be done to improve the tool.

Features

  • Calculations

Calculation of a winning hand in various types of poker and probability calculation based on the specified parameters

  • Settings

The ability to specify game parameters

Feedback from the client

“The calculators were implemented into last detail and working flawlessly. The project was finished ahead of time. From IntexSoft’s side everything was very professionally organized. They listened to feedback well and made the needed moderations to the tools.”
